CNC Machining

Our CNC division operates some of the most advanced computer-automated equipment available. This state-of-the-art technology, primarily 3- and 4-axis machines, enables our expert machinists and programmers to perform turnkey operations with minimal time and maximum precision.

Our Mori-Seiki SL303B mill-turn machines have a multi-axis turning center that integrates the capabilities of both a lathe and a machining center to provide high levels of productivity and precision. These machines easily accommodate jobs ranging from small and complex pieces requiring machining on all sides to the highly accurate machining of pieces that mainly involves turning.

Hill Manufacturing programmers use one of the most advanced CNC programming systems on the market: ESPRIT from DP Technology. ESPRIT signficantly reduces the time to program our mill-turn machines. For example, a complex part that used to take eight hours to program can now be done in about two hours. Besides saving programming time, the ability of ESPRIT to simulate and quickly rearrange operations helps substantially reduce machining time, especially when producing complicated parts on advanced machines.
